Driver Assessment - Pre-Employment
Gone are the days when a nice smile and the right licence secured a driving position. Almost all forward thinking companies
now - as part of their selection process - require that drivers are assessed correctly before they are offered a position.
A pre-employment assessment for all potential driving staff should be considered a must and could (in the long term) save you
a lot of heartache, not to mention cost. For the driver who passes the assessment, this should be considered as part of his/her
induction training.

Fleet Cost Reduction
Although the past 18 months have hit Transport and distribution operations very hard with reductions in volumes, transport has always
suffered costs that are dictated to it. With fuel, wages and maintenance costs high, margins become eroded, especially as customers do not
want to pay more for their deliveries and products.
Maintaining profits under these circumstances can be difficult, especially for the smaller fleet operator. However, it isn't
impossible, merely a question of working smarter and looking at the future of your operation.

Transport Audits
It is advisable for operators to carry out a legal compliance audit on a six monthly, depending upon the complexity of their business and
the number of vehicles being operated. Transport Audits are a means of determining that nothing has been overlooked during the previous
6 monthly period and that all legal documentation is up-too-date and in order.
We undertake audits to fit in with your operation, with the average time to complete dependant upon the size of your fleet.
