LGV & PCV Licence Acquisition Training
We offer a complete course of instruction for anyone wishing to obtain their LGV/PCV Licence.
All of our instructors hold the appropriate licence for the vehicle in which they are teaching and have previous experience at a vocational level.

PCV Training, D1 Training, Minibus Training
Category D1 licence entitlement is required if you intend to drive a minibus which has 9-16 passenger seats. If you intend to drive a minibus professionally then you will also need Driver CPC training. For new entrants driving a minibus professionally means having to obtain the Initial Driver CPC. Driver CPC was introduced into the coach and bus industry on 10th September 2008.
Initial Driver CPC is split into 4 separate modules
Module 1: multi choice and hazard perception theory test
Module 2: driver CPC case study theory test
Module 3: practical driving test
Module 4: practical associated knowledge test
All 4 modules must be passed to be awarded a driver CPC qualification card.
Modules 1 and 3 must be passed to drive a minibus for private use.
Minibus Refresher Training
If you already have D1 entitlement and need some refresher training, or would like some D1 driving assessments to be carried out then we can help.
By providing the correct training and instruction our instructors will also endeavour to instil a high level of positive behaviour, ensuring that the driver adopts a professional approach right from the start of their chosen driving career.
Theory and Hazard Perception training- all vehicles
As well as LGV Licence Acquisition, we also offer Theory and Hazard Perception Training (HPT) for all vehicles. Training takes place on a one-to-one basis using the very latest touchscreen computers as used by test centres where you will take your test. HPT plus Module 2 CPC case theory test can be offered in hourly sessions or a full week of one to one training for LGV/PCV. The weekly course is from 0900 - 1500 daily. This course prepares you for your DSA HPT test. Our weekly course has a high pass rate.
